The startup life can be a real grind. What do you and your team members do to blow off some steam or during downtime?

EL We feed our dogs (ice cream), we attend fruit festivals, we go hiking without our phones, we box, we jump off waterfalls, we ride horses, we acroyoga, we eat nut butters, and make bad jokes.

What's the biggest reward from running your startup?

EL Definitely the patient testimonials - hearing from patients who have been able to return to school or get back to work, or simply feel like themselves again because of our work.

If you could go back in time and talk to yourself at the beginning stages of your company, what advice would you give yourself?

EL Pace yourself! As a startup, you will operate under a mindset of scarcity, and the only way you will succeed is to push yourself to do more, try more, execute more, and be better and faster than the competition. BUT it is a marathon, so along the way take the time for self-care to ensure you can keep going.
