Each year, the BETAS (Buffalo Emerging Technology Awards Showcase) recognizes our community’s leaders in technological innovation. The event is hosted by InfoTech WNY, a professional organization that focuses on workforce development, networking, and attracting new businesses to Buffalo. They also collaborate with local educational institutions to help grow awareness of the opportunities available in the city’s tech industry.

InfoTech WNY recently announced the finalists for the BETAS’ 12 different categories, and we found a lot of familiar faces in this group of stand-out leaders. Several 43North winners and partners have been named finalists in categories like Entrepreneur of the Year and Best Emerging Tech Company.

For the complete list of finalists, head on over to the InfoTech WNY website. The BETAS are being held on May 4th at Buffalo Riverworks, with a free Technology Showcase prior to the awards ceremony – you can register to attend either event at this link.
