A key part of Buffalo’s continued growth is its flourishing life sciences industry, which is comprised of world-class facilities, a dedication to research, and a culture of innovation. We experience it first-hand with our incubator being located on the Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC).
From our doorstep you see Roswell Park, one of the top cancer institutes in the world. Just across the street is the University at Buffalo Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics and Life Sciences, where students learn the key components that will make the scientists of tomorrow. And up the road is the brand-new Oishei Children’s Hospital, which is slated to open this fall.
Several of the region’s medical facilities have been nationally recognized for excellence, including the Gates Vascular Institute and Buffalo General Hospital (both located on the BNMC), as well as the Erie County Medical Center.
