    HiOperator is a next-gen customer service platform, combining integrations, AI, and awesome people. We are a 43North startup located in the heart of Buffalo, and are looking for energetic Sales Development Representatives to help us identify and reach out to potential new clients!

    Since we are a small (but rapidly growing!) team, ideal candidates will be excellent team workers, self-motivated, intrinsically curious and very very comfortable with technology.

    Sales Development Representative Job Description:

    Help HiOperator identify and reach out to potential clients (consumer companies) over email/phone to qualify and move leads through our sales funnel. Your goal will be to set qualified sales meetings for senior members of the team

    This means that you own everything from identifying companies (that fit our criteria) to finding the appropriate contacts to reach out to at these companies to reaching out to these contacts (and providing some initial information on HiOperator) to successfully booking a “demo” with them.

    To do this well, you’ll work with stakeholders within HiOperator to understand how best to communicate our value props. Please note that all new employees at HiOperator (no matter which role you’re hired for) spend their first 2 weeks as a customer success guru and then cover periodic, ongoing shifts. We believe in understanding the business from the inside out!

    What this is: A high growth potential role – you’ll be one of the first Sales Development Representatives we hire and we believe strongly in promoting from within.

    What this is not: An Account Executive role. Expect to spend at least a year in the Sales Development Representative role.


    • At least 1 year in a quota-carrying frontline sales role with a history of exceeding targets
    • Please be very VERY comfortable emailing and cold-calling and receiving “no’s”! If this is not you, that’s okay! Keep an eye open for other jobs at HiOperator!
    • Very strong communication skills with a high degree of comfort communicating and explaining tech concepts
    • Experience working with CRMs, excel, etc – bonus if you have customer service CRM experience
