Rocking bands, an incredible light show, fire dancers and…flowers? That’s what you’ll find if you head to the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens to catch a glimpse of “Night Lights at the Gardens.”
The historic gardens, which are housed in a gorgeous glass conservatory building in the heart of Buffalo’s Frederick Law Olmsted-designed South Park, will be awash in stunning, interactive lights on the evenings of Feb. 5 to 8 and Feb. 12 to 15. On select nights, you can take in some live blues, rock and world music, as well.
Not far from the gardens, you’ll find one of my favorite restaurants – Mulberry. Hidden away in a residential neighborhood in the shadow of a former steel mill, this Italian cafe is legendary for its baseball-sized meatballs that even grabbed the attention of Guy Fieri.
