BUFFALO, NY – The pitches begin Wednesday at 11am for the 43North finals at the Rich’s Atrium on Niagara Street.
Over thirty venture capitalists from around the country and the judges for this year’s competition will be on hand to dwindle the sixteen finalists down to ten.
The ten finalists will then make their pitch Thursday morning at Shea’s in the second to last round of competition.
Each of the sixteen finalists will pitch to a VC for five minutes then move on. The venture capitalists will convene later in the day to name the ten finalists.
The six startups that are eliminated today will receive no prize but will get face time with venture capitalists that may choose to independently invest.
Ace Callwood, a 2015 43North winner and founder of Painless 1099, sat down for an Innovate WNY podcast to break down each of this year’s finalists and what they can expect during the pitch.
