The Board of Directors of The Summit Center has elected John Gavigan, Executive Director of 43North, to a three-year term.
In addition to his business responsibilities, Mr. Gavigan serves on the board of Buffalo Renaissance Foundation and is a member of Bright Buffalo Niagara. He is a former Board member of Buffalo Museum of Science and Tifft Nature Preserve. He earned an MBA from Canisius College and a B.S. from Binghamton University. He resides in Buffalo.
“I’m very pleased to welcome John to Summit’s board,” said Anthony M. D’Auria, Board president. “In addition to extensive professional experience, John brings a passion for our community and a strong commitment to helping the individuals and families that Summit serves.”
In addition, the following officers have been re-elected to two-year terms:
President: Anthony M. D’Auria, Executive Vice President/Principal at Waterbourne Real Estate Advisors, LLC and Waterbourne Construction Advisors, president. Mr. D’Auria resides in Orchard Park.
Co-Vice Presidents: Lisa Burrows-MacLean, Ph.D., Child Psychologist, of East Amherst; Daniel P. O’Neill, President and Chief Executive Officer of Beechwood Continuing Care, of Clarence Center; and Sujata Yalamanchili, Esq., partner at Hodgson Russ, of Williamsville.
Secretary/Treasurer: Kenneth Sniatecki, Vice President at Citi, of Getzville.
Directors re-elected to three-year terms include:
Mark Brand, Esq., President & Chief Executive Officer at Actuarial Consulting Services, Inc., of Clarence Center; John Cinquino, Vice President – Commercial Banking at Citizens Bank, of East Amherst; and Ezra Staley, Senior Product Manager at M&T Bank, of Lockport.
Continuing board members include:
Frederick G. Floss, Ph.D., United University Professions; Carl V. Granger, MD, Uniform Data Systems for Medical Rehabilitation; Christine Oliver, MD, Child & Adolescent psychiatry; Elizabeth Schachtner, Marketing/Planning Consultant;Robert E.
